Things to do in Kedarnath in June

Day 1 - Tuesday 4th, Jun
Afternoon -

Arrive at Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. Take a taxi to Rishikesh (approximately 21.8 km from the airport) and check into your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring the local markets and trying out some local street food.

Evening -

Day 2 - Wednesday 5th, Jun
Morning -

Visit the iconic Beatles Ashram or Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram and then head to the beautiful Neer Garh Waterfall for a refreshing morning amidst nature.

Afternoon -

Have lunch at The Sitting Elephant by the Ganges, a family-friendly restaurant offering a variety of cuisines.

Evening -

Day 4 - Friday 7th, Jun
Morning -

Embark on a nature walk towards Chorabari Tal, also known as Gandhi Sarovar, a glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks and lush greenery.

Day 5 - Saturday 8th, Jun

Begin your trek down from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. Enjoy the scenic views and stop for some local snacks on the way back.

Afternoon -

Drive back from Sonprayag to Rishikesh, approximately 207 km. Check into your hotel and freshen up before exploring the local markets for souvenirs.

Evening -

Day 6 - Sunday 9th, Jun
Morning -

Evening -

Morning -

Check out from your hotel in Rishikesh and travel back to Dehradun to catch your flight from Jolly Grant Airport. Depart for Visakhapatnam with unforgettable memories of your Himalayan family adventure.
